An Individual Development Plan (IDP) is a personal roadmap for each of our committed squad players. It captures where a player is right now, what they're working towards, and exactly how they'll get there — across every part of their game.
Rather than treating every child the same, the IDP lets us tailor development to the individual. It's the kind of structured, academy-standard tool rarely seen at grassroots level, and it's a core part of what makes Constantine Academy different.
Every plan is built around the FA's Four-Corner model, covering a player's technical, physical, psychological and social development — and is reviewed regularly so progress is always visible to the player, the coach, and the parent.

Player Self-Assessment
The player reflects on what they feel they're good at and where they want to improve — giving them ownership of their own development.
Enjoyment & Challenge
We capture what the player enjoys and what they find difficult, so coaching stays motivating and targets the right areas.
Four-Corner Assessment
A clear 1–5 rating across technical, physical, psychological and social skills, with specific coach notes for each area.
Targets & Coach Feedback
Honest, encouraging feedback and clear development targets that guide the player's next block of training.
