Youth football for families based in Harrow

Constantine Football Club is a youth football academy in North West London, welcoming players from across Harrow to our Stanmore venue, just a short trip from most of the borough. If you've been searching for football coaching near Harrow, or a club that actually competes in the Harrow Soccer Combination, this is what we offer.

We don't currently run sessions inside Harrow town centre itself — our training takes place at Avanti House School in Stanmore — but many of our current players are Harrow families, and the borough is where the majority of our fixtures are played.

Frequently asked by Harrow parents

Is there a Constantine Academy venue in Harrow itself?

Not currently — our nearest venue is Stanmore, a short drive from most of Harrow. Many of our players are Harrow families.

Do you play in the Harrow Soccer Combination?

Yes — it's our main league, alongside select JPL fixtures.

Can we try a session before committing?

Yes — every new player gets one FREE TASTER SESSION, with no obligation to continue.

Do you play your fixtures in Harrow?

Yes. We compete in the Harrow Soccer Combination, so most of our league football is played across the borough — often closer to home than training is.

What a session looks like

Training is built around the football your child will actually play on a Saturday in the Harrow Soccer Combination, so nothing in a session is there for its own sake.

The first fifteen minutes are a warm-up with a ball at their feet — no standing around waiting for something to start. The next half hour is technical work on one thing: first touch, passing, finishing, one-v-one. Then small-sided games where that skill has to hold up under pressure, and a proper match to finish.

Before they leave, every child hears one thing they did well and one thing to work on. It takes thirty seconds and it's the part they remember on the drive home.

Parents are welcome to stay and watch. Most Harrow families do for the first few weeks, and we'd rather you did.

Starting out in Harrow

If your child isn't playing anywhere yet, Byron Recreation Ground and Harrow Recreation Ground are good places to start — free, open, and no pressure. A lot of what makes a young footballer is built in exactly that kind of unstructured play.

The point at which a club starts to help is when they begin asking questions you can't answer. Why does the ball keep going over the bar? How do I get past someone quicker than me? That's when they need repetition, structure, and someone watching properly. Often it happens the first time they play against a team that's better organised than theirs.

Harrow is where we play our league football, so for Harrow families the fixtures are usually right on the doorstep.

What it costs, and what's included

Fees depend on how many sessions your child attends, and there's a discount for families with more than one child at the club. We also hold places for families facing financial difficulty — ask, and it stays between us.

All coaching equipment, balls and bibs are provided. Your child needs boots or trainers, shin pads and a water bottle, and nothing else. There's no club kit to buy before they start.

The first session is free, and there's no obligation after it.

Nearby areas we also serve

Families travel to our sessions from right across North West London. If you're closer to Stanmore, Kingsbury or Queensbury, those pages cover the journey and venue details from there.

Still deciding? Come and watch one session

You don't have to commit to anything. Bring your child down, let them join in for an hour, and see how they get on. NO KIT NEEDED, NOTHING TO PAY — just turn up.
